July 2023 Ann and Keith's Hamptons Calendar and Blog |

VIBRANT. It’s July and there’s so much going on in The Hamptons, who has time to read a newsletter.....much less write one. So we’re going to keep this short. It should be enough for us to tell you that The Hamptons are simply more vibrant than either of us have ever witnessed. The restaurant scene, vibrant. Retail, vibrant. The beaches and parks, vibrant. And, yes the real estate market is vibrant as well. Across all price points exciting new houses are popping up.....and selling! We would probably be boasting that this is The Hamptons “moment”, if we didn’t know for sure that the best is yet to come. If you’re lucky enough to spend this July in The Hamptons......then know this: People from all over the world have spent small fortunes to be here too......so they could be lucky enough, like you. |

Our Most Important Cause is also The Most Exciting Gala |
Every year, without fail, THE ELLEN HERMANSON FOUNDATION SUMMER GALA is the highlight of our summer season. We encourage everyone to buy tickets for this wonderful evening and simultaneously support the foundation’s significant efforts to assure that everyone in our community gets the Breast Cancer care and support they need. Two important facts: 1. Every penny raised stays here in The Hamptons, a true commitment to our community. 2. Ann is Vice President of the Board and works tirelessly all year long to support Julie Ratner’s selfless vision. Order Tickets here and show Ann your support of her efforts. |

Our Favorite Place To Eat |
You have two choices during the busy summer months.......Whine about how hard it is to get Saturday night reservations, or relax and enjoy your wonderful home on the weekends. We’ve made our choice. HOME, our favorite place to eat. |
What are we cooking? Smashburgers, Pickle-Brined fried chicken sandwiches (NYTIMES recipe,) steaks from CURATED and salads from Ann’s garden. |

We were lucky enough to see Candace Bushnell perform her delightful one-woman show about the origins of SEX IN THE CITY at The Church Art Center in Sag Harbor a few weeks ago. How lucky are we!!! (How lucky is this community to have THE CHURCH with its amazing and diverse programming!) But after an evening with the author, creator, and inspiration for Carrie Bradshaw, how could we resist devouring each episode of AND JUST LIKE THAT... streaming on MAX. It’s delightful, and a bit daring if we must say! (Click here to watch the trailer). |
To say nothing of the fact that Sarah Jesica Parker and Mathew Broderick are going to be with us at THE BAY STREET THEATER GALA (Order tickets here) on July 8th, where they are being honored for their amazing contributions to live theater. The world of the arts keeps stirring in The Hamptons.....and here we are lucky enough to be in the pot! |
