June......herald of Summer, harbinger of sun-drenched fun, (as well as Beaver Cleaver’s mother’s name.) Enjoying the long summer days? Then keep in mind June 20th is the Summer Solstice......the longest day of the year. You’ll find us, more often than not, on the beach with friends and family for dinner and bonfire long after sunset. (We’ve finally learned how to manage the bonfire legally and responsibly......call for advice). And if you haven’t experienced the joy of Sunrise on Georgica Beach, then here’s a great tip.....THE BEST WAY TO STRETCH YOUR DAY IS BY STARTING EARLY. All of us understand how dearly we’ve paid to be near the ocean. Every hour you spend on the beach serves to make your investment all the more worthwhile.
Our favorite farm-stand is Lisa and Bill’s at the head of Beach Lane in Wainscott. It’s been in the same family........forever. We like to think of our summer menu as “family farm to family table.”
From sunrise to sunset, from meal to meal, we’re reminded that.......... If you’re lucky enough to summer in The Hamptons, you’re lucky enough. |

Our Favorite Restaurant of the Month! |
When it comes to Summer Restaurants there is simply no competition. Le Bilboquet is in a league of its own. Be sure to make your reservation to coincide with sunset on the pier, simply glorious. When it opened four years ago it raised the bar for Hamptons Chic......perhaps never to be matched. Saturday night is only for the courageous. If you’re intimidated by beautiful people, grill at home. But if you want to be transported to a movie set, enjoy fabulous decadent food, and be smothered with kind, professional service....then head to the pier in Sag Harbor......and leave time to find a parking space. (Better yet, take Uber.....the wine list is beckoning). If you decide to go on a Sunday evening at sundown you’re sure to find us, basking in the sunset, dressed in our finest, being regaled by the staff about the gossip from that Saturday night. Give JB our love. Click Here To Check It Out! |

Our Favorite New Store Of The Month
|
Our favorite new store is ONE at 1 Main Street in East Hampton. Visionary merchant and impresario Julianna Teeple has created a multi brand boutique that is sure to thrill, visit after visit. Fashion, jewelry, interiors, art and more. (We’re a bit biased, we admit, because Keith built the building for his Grandson, Jeremey Tahari, fifteen years ago as a gift for his 5th birthday). But be sure to click on the link....there’s always something exciting going on. Click Here To Check It Out |

Life in the Hamptons is not for the faint of heart, when it comes to price. And it trickles down to every aspect of life from beach passes to dry cleaning. But then again, The Hamptons has no equal. (Well maybe San Tropez). And prices for RoundSwamp Farm‘s prepared foods have actually forced media moguls and movie stars to take notice But..................holy mackerel, who would have thought life (and food) could really be this good? When your most beloved friends are coming for the weekend, stock up at RoundSwamp, they’ll be thrilled and you won’t have a mess to clean up. When the bossy mother-in-law is here, serve it all with a smile, and boast of your shopping, and chopping, baking, and cooking and simply stand your ground. RoundSwamp never tells.
