Cheers to the New Year!

As 2023 draws to a close, there are fun and festive events throughout Colorado to ring in 2024. From torchlight parades in scenic ski resorts and family-friendly activities to concerts with champagne toasts and balloon drops, we’ve compiled the top events to celebrate the final night of the year in style.

If you’re in the beautiful Vail Valley for New Year’s Eve, Beaver Creek is hosting an event that the whole family can enjoy! The Winter Circus will feature aerialists, contortionists, jugglers, break dancers, fire dancers, and more. Stroll through the Village and enjoy the festivities with the backdrop of the snow-covered mountains.

Breckenridge’s Riverwalk Center showcases a concert by the Brass Queens, a female-led New York-based brass band that has performed on Good Morning America and at the Met Gala. A champagne installation, ball drop, dancing, and other performers will round out a rousing party.

Boulder is known for its active lifestyle and in classic Boulder style, Fleet Feet is hosting a New Year’s Eve run to wrap up 2023. Lace up your running shows and take part in the Winter Warriors group run on Pearl Street and you’ll get a head start on healthy resolutions!

The Hotel Boulderado boasts a bevy of events, ranging from a New Year’s Eve Luncheon at Spruce Farm & Fish to Jazz on the Mezzanine to the New Year’s Eve Party at License No. 1. After a night of revelry, relax and enjoy the New Year’s Day Brunch at the Corner Bar.

Don your black tie attire for New Year’s Eve Dinner & Gala at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Enjoy a five-course dinner and live music from Ken Miller and the Broadmoor Pops along with Broadway star Marcus Lovett and singer Julie Bradley. A champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight welcome 2024.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s ski instructors will wind their way down the mountain with glowing torchlights, followed by a fireworks display over the base area. Viking Sound Machine will be spinning tunes on the Butte 66 Deck, an ideal location to watch the parade and fireworks.

The Children’s Museum of Denver is hosting Noon Year’s Eve, with kid-friendly hip-hop music from Mr. Kneel, ball drops every hour between 10am-3pm, tasty snacks from The Teaching Kitchen, and New Year-themed activities.

The White Rose Gala will take place at Denver’s luxurious Ritz-Carlton, with a theme of Roaring Twenties elegance. Dress to impress in black tie attire and enjoy art deco décor, a live band, a balloon drop and DJs will make this a fabulous fete.

Keystone’s Warren Station brings the 12-piece band Funkiphino to River Run Village for a night of glitz, glamour, and music to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Glow sticks, a confetti shower, a photo booth, and a toast add to the celebratory ambiance for an unforgettable evening.

After a day enjoying the San Juan Mountains or strolling down the historic Colorado Avenue, dance the night away at Sheridan Opera House with music from the Motortown All-Stars. Featuring members of the The Contours, The Miracles and the Temptations, the band will play your favorite Motown hits. General admission tickets include a glass of champagne, a balloon drop, and party favors.

Bring the whole family to Vail’s Torchlight Parade to watch the Ski & Snowboard School instructors winding down Golden Peak with lit flares, followed by a spectacular fireworks display that can be viewed from locations throughout the valley.

The Rendezvous Event Center in Winter Park is the place to be on New Year’s Eve in Grand County, with a silent disco by Big Little Sound and sledding. This event is hosted by the Winter Park and Fraser Chamber.
