Beaufort Area Update:
For the 12-month period spanning February 2023 through January 2024, New Listings were up +1.8 percent to 224. Pending Sales decreased -7.5 percent to 209. Inventory grew +36.3 percent to 616 units.

Prices moved higher as Median Sales Price was up +7.2 percent to $392,250. Days on Market decreased -9.5 percent to 95 days. Months Supply of Inventory was up +42.1 percent to 2.7 months, indicating that supply increased relative to demand. Read the full report here.

Hilton Head Area Update:
For the 12-month period spanning February 2023 through January 2024, Pending Sales in the Hilton Head Association of REALTORS® region were down 7.5 percent overall. The price range with the largest pending sales gain was the $1,000,001 and Above range, where sales rose 11.1 percent.

Market-wide, inventory levels rose 30.8 percent. The property type with the largest gain was the Condos segment, where the number of properties for sale were up 74.8 percent. That amounts to 2.7 months of inventory for Single-Family Homes and 3.7 months of inventory for Condos. Read the full report here.

For 39 years, the Hilton Head Island Wine and Food Festival has been a steadfast supporter of the community. Proceeds from our wine auctions held during the Grand Tasting and Public Tasting events go directly to the John F. & Valerie Currie Educational Scholarship Fund. This fund provides financial support to college students pursuing degrees in the hospitality and tourism field, currently available at the University of South Carolina Beaufort and the Technical College of the Lowcountry. Golf Cart Parade & Block Party
March 16th, 3 PM - 7 PM
Bluffton Oyster Factory Park
The Bluffton St. Patrick’s Golf Cart Parade, proudly sponsored by Icon Epic Golf Carts, will commence at 3 pm starting from Town Hall. Cart owners are encouraged to adorn their vehicles in vibrant Irish hues, as prizes will be granted to the top three best-dressed golf carts. Entries will be evaluated on their decoration, innovation, enthusiasm, crew, and overall cart presentation.

Following the parade, you are welcomed to enjoy live music, a food court, a beer & wine garden, and a lively dog costume contest at the Oyster Factory Park. This Block Party event is proudly presented by Indy Karting & Amusement.

Featured entertainment includes the Horan Brothers Band, with a special guest appearance by The Chilly Willy Band.

Agave Has Moved Over Old Town Dispensary’s Former Space

Agave Side Bar, the relaxed Southwest Tex-Mex spot in Old Town, has shifted from its former site in the Promenade to the former premises of Old Town Dispensary at 15 Captains Cove in Bluffton.

As per Linda Belskis, the owner, the Agave team is enhancing the interior of the establishment and incorporating greenery into the outdoor courtyard to create a warmer atmosphere.

Regarding the menu, they will maintain their selection of familiar dishes and beverages such as tacos, burritos, rice bowls, and margaritas, while introducing new offerings like a chorizo burger, tostadas, tortas, and fajitas. Check out the menu here.
